Eyeliner

Ok so i have only ever worn jet black eyeliner but today i bought a really dark purple one and im intersted to try it .. what colour scemes do you recon would work with other eye makeup to go with it ?? or does anyone have any pics of purple eyeliner ?? thanks

I don't have any on me, but I've done purple with purple. Also, teal with purple is a nice way to really draw attention to your eyes.

I have been using Max Factor liquid eyeliner. Is it glide and define? Something like that? It is great! The quickest application I have ever had!

I used to wear purple eyeliner with black or dark brown mascara, bronzer, and nude lips. Really loved the look. Just be sure to go low-key on the lips. Purple is beautiful.

I have dark purple and teal liquid liners I use on my upper eyelids and still line the bottoms with black whenever I need a splash of color!

Once in a while when I feel like playing around I use a seafoam-colored eyeliner. It's an unexpected color.

^Hmm..seafoam is a color I have wanted to play around with for the summer but now that summer is ending I am not sure how it will go with a fall palate. I think I will still try it out and see what happens. It is a very pretty color.

I just bought a lavender/purple eyeliner from Stila. Excited to go home and play with it and try it out. God, I love make up.

I use MAC in the shade Engraved.
I have been looking at Sephora's bestsellers and I think I'm going to go for the Makeupforever waterproof one next.
I also really like L'Oreal and Revlon's mechanical ones for drugstore brands - cheap and they stay put.

I am usually a high end girl but I found the greatest eyeliner pencils ever! They were only $2 at Walgreens! They are called Jordana EasyLiner. I LOVE them. Not as smudge-y as my MACs!

I have a bunch of Jordana eyeliners and lipliners. They're cheap and really decent for the price

Has anyone tried the Make Up For Ever eyeliners? Or the Urban Decay ones?

Those are the two brands I'm considering at the moment- sadly I can't purchase both (although I would to!!!). But it's either one or the other. I've read great reviews for both on sephora.com, but I'm interested in hearing tFS members' experiences with these.

^actually quite like the Urban Decay liquid eyeliners. The brush is great and it doesn't get clumpy at all. I've been using their liner for a while now. I never tried the MUFE, so I couldn't tell you if that's better. As for pencil liner, esp. in black, i love love YSL.
