jennifer~, I had completely forgotten that pic of Devon, thanks for posting it!

I noticed that Dior uses this theme a lot, almost in every fashion show. He dresses models as some out of space creatures but he gives a little soft edge with the makeup. Now he has toned down a bit with all the makeup parade, but still.

Emanuel Ungaro does some very fairy-like dresses. They look really delicate and sweet at the same time. Who else?..viktor and rolf in one of the last collections. There's also an editorial with Natalia V. called Alice in Wonderland based on the magical tale.

wow i never realized how much fairy tales influence fashion....I remember being like 5 years old and watching and reading fairy tales and being absolutely obsessed with the outfits the charecters wore espiecally the dresses. I used to draw dresses from fairy tales and combine elements from different fairy tale dresses to make new clothes. Its so great to read through this thread to see how designers interpret different fairy tales to make beautiful clothes....thanks guys for contributing!

I've got a feeling the Veronique Branquihno show for S/S 06 was heavily inspired by fairy tales.... With all the dreamy capes...
