Thisis now my favourate thread. Im a textiles student and for my next project i chose to base it on fairytales and Little Red Riding hood specifically. I came ontfs looking for designer links and found this thread. I didnt realise how many desighners have used this idea for their collections.

lucy and susan's mediaeval-style costumes from the battle scene were also really pretty...

hence I noted it in my original post 
no, mcqueen didn't design tilda swinton's costumes...though I strongly suspect that isis mussenden was more than a little influenced by this collection. the resemblences are uncanny...in fact bordering on identical.
