I am not so sure about chartreuse or burnt oranges in terms of colour, they are too often used in blatantly vintage-referenced clothes. Also with regards to "that small vintage jacket", it´s been around for too long now, I remember Miu Miu introducing it several winter collections back and it´s basically the same shape ever since, with small patched pockets and in tweed. I still favour something that might be a little cropped, but more in the idea of menswear borrowing.
I still believe that purple is a very flattering, regal colour in most of it´s shades, it´s one of the few colours that everybody can wear. Are there any other shades of colour, such as bottle/emerald green, midnight blue or greys?
