my impression while I'm reading this thread is that fashion photographers shoud better stay away fom album covers... some of them are good, but generaly they're not too interesting. The LaChapelle ones are particularly terrible.
Nick Knight's covers are the best ones in my opinion, and the Bjork one by Senaoui of course.
