Fashion Rocks 2006

I thought it was pretty horrible.

Not much fashion, really, mostly music performances, which is fine, but not what I expected. I thought it was going to be a fashion show with live musicians. Instead it was Marc Jacobs looking really uncomfortable while introducing Christina Aguilera.

I thought the whole Glam, Grunge, Rockabilly, Goth, Punk thing was painful to watch. You couldn't even really see the clothes. Meh.

I feel like a nerd................I started this thread, and saw all of the hype.

And STILL missed it.


BUT now .............I just keep hearing about the performances and NOTHING about the clothes.

I don't believe so but even if there was, there's not much point in watching it. The fashion show lasted all of 5 minutes and they didn't zoom in on any faces or the clothes. They panned from one look to the next really fast because 4 models came out at once, posed for 2 seconds, then moved to the right or left and the next row of 4 models came out.

^exactly, there wasn't any "runway" to have a runway video of. The show is worth watching for that part though and the finale if you want to spot your favorite models, but seems like you can just get those clips online. It's being shown again on E! tomorrow night (tues.)
