The Portico rooms set within the magnificent settings of Somerset House holds an important role in allowing designers to show their work in a new way. Designers including Clements Ribeiro, Krystof Strozyna, Jasmine Di Milo, and Orla Kiely will all be taking advantage of this new facility. Temperly, Mulberry, and Aquascutum, will also be holding presentations during the week to press and buyers in various venues across the west end. The schedule has shaped up to be the most exciting in years adding to the Buzz London seems to be effortlessly generating at the moment, it seems only a matter of time until the McCartneys, McQueens and Gallianos are racing to come home. Roll on September.

oooh la la!
I'm really excited for Mark Fast, Unique, Richard Nicoll, Christopher Kane, Luella, Eley Kishimoto, House of Holland, Twenty8Twelve, Pringle of Scotland, Jeremy Scott, Erdem, Paul Smith, Jonathan Saunders and Burberry.

Still two months left and i already can't wait! The schedule looks amazing! Together with the classic english designers like Luella, Vivienne Westwood, Jeremy Scott, Paul Smith and Burberry..i'm really looking forward to the "new generation" like Peter Pilotto, Erdem, Roksanda Ilincic and Basso & Brooke (especially after their resort collection!!!)..even though my main priority will be Matthew Williamson and Marios Schwab:heart:! Can't wait!!

I can't wait to see Charles Anastase, Luella, Christopher Kane, House of Holland (for the laughs), Burberry,Louise Goldin, Matthew Williamson, Roksanda Ilincic, Marios Schwab and Erdem!

Did I hear that Giles Deacon moved to Paris?

So looking forward to Jaeger, Richard Nicoll and Jonathan Saunders.

^^ Yep Giles won the ANDAM award. More than just a coincidence I think that just as London is regaining its strength an award which insists the winner show in Paris is given to one of London's hottest and might I add the most loyal designers. There is no doubt Giles will return, he has already expressed a reluctance to move his show across the channel and has insisted it shall only be for one or two seasons.
