I dont know if this is already a thread but what im looking for is some ideas, i'll be in Italy for most of July taking classes, and on the weekends I plan on traveling to various cities, but never having been to Europe before, I was wondering which ones are too great to miss. Thanks.

My hometown is Naples..I love the weather there and the sea.. but I live in Milan that's the most "fashionable" city in europe..I've lived for 3 years in London I LOVE THAT CITY!!!

so far i've only been to Amsterdamn, Berlin and Essen in Europe
So i can't say much
but i love Amsterdam and Essen. Great cities/town!
and i didn't like Berlin
but i plan to go to so many other places in Europe, i'm so looking forward to it!

As a lot of people has said, you must go to Paris and London. (They are the only big european cities I know that aren't in my country and I loved both)
But the south of France is full of pretty little cities too, and if you are in Italy, it's not far.
