Favorite Japanese Magazines!

I have a nearly lifelong obsession with Japan and Japanese culture, and the mags that I keep going back to are Vogue Nippon, ViVi and Fruits (I prefer the older editions though). I also adore all of the Japanese entertainment mags like Roadshow and Movie Star because they usually have rare pictures of American celebrities.

I usually buy Vogue Nippon and RT magazines
but Madame Figaro Japan and Spur are also pretty good

-Vogue Nippon
Definitely. Their covers are beautiful and the models they choose (however repetetive) are stunning. Their editorials are great too.

I love Japanese magz! When I lived in SF I bought them all the time in Japantown. Now I can't find them anywhere. I'm obsessed with the ViVi site. I think I may need to order a subscription. My boyfriend is going to laugh so hard because I can't read a word. Vivi and JJ are both so image heavy that it doesn't matter though. I love the styling though...it's girly girl overload!!! :)

I do like editorials of Vogue Nippon .I would buy Vogue Nippon even though I don't speak Japanese but I can't find it anywhere

I used to buy Japanese Vogue and Elle by post through OCS Services, though in the end I stopped because the magazines were simply too expensive. The office I dealt with is based in London, and I cannot fault them for customer service, although they did not speak fluent English. Here's a few links to their details, just in case anyone in the UK/Eire is interested in finding out more:

I started by buying the magazines on a one-issue-only basis, which then turned into a subscription, where they'd send me a quarterly invoice, and I paid them by cheque. All my communications with them were by post (I once rang them up and got an answering machine that spoke Japanese, and I got scared and put the phone down). The magazines arrived in a nice secure envelope.

Now, you can also get Japanese Vogue at the Easons in Dublin, on [SIZE=-1]O'Connell Street, they have all the foreign mags hidden away at a special stand at the back of the magazine section, just where the book section starts. However, with the addition of the sales tax, the cost is enormous. I seem to remember it costing me about 17 euro for a single issue. It was by far the most expensive fashion magazine in the shop.

Sorry to bump up this thread but would any of these magazines be found in Selfridges WH Smith department? They tend to have a wide range of international fashion magazines.
