it could’ve been spectacular but it’s not.

it’s all OTT but in a very disappointing way.
the layout, the styling (gives me nausea), the hair (THAT COLOURED HAIR OMFG), the excess of photoshop (which Im usually not against but they look made of wax).

the best picture so far is the group shot even if I’m becoming a bit tired of Naomi.

There’s no element of fun around this. And Meisel isn’t the only one to blame for that!

LOL the more of this campaign they show, the more it all resembles a project by a housewife of Housewives Of....

They can hustle all the Supers that corporate money can afford— but nothing will save the cheapness that is this brand and campaign. I can’t imagine anyone over the age of 30 who isn’t a stripper/Housewives of New Jersey/Cardi B wouldn’t be embarrassed to wear such gross fashions. (That faux-leather black seamless and the gold Versace log borders give me flashbacks to the Guido clubs that plagued America when Jersey Shore was popular— along with trash brands like Ed Hardy/Affliction/Christian Audigier. This belongs perfectly alongside all that… :shudders:

I'm really trying to understand the appeal behind a scarf over a cap as a styling trick. Jacob K is really on something seeing as that is something their trying to push, and it doesn't make sense.

The campaign is also very reminiscent to that terrible Fendi/Skims campaign which just proves my belief that Meisel and Kim Jones as a creative duo or team is just absolutely terrible.

I love Kristen to death but they're making her look like Madame Tussauds.

It's funny that the only girl that has any ambience, or conviction in this scene will be a sexagenarian in only a few years.. A sad indictment on the rest of the industy

I saw a woman in head to toes Fendace today, so it made me curious about what was actually produced (she was in her 60s btw).

The first Google result is the pink mesh dress. The price is INSANE.

€29.000 ?!?

Of course this is not where they’re going to make money and it’s just a (lazy) attempt to make the rest of the collection seem luxurious, but it is so odd.
