More like Kim Jones is struggling in his creativity and his vision. Fendi has been a top performing brand for LVMH for more than a decade now.

At this point they should hire Jacobs as the main and only designer for Fendi and have Jones work in tandem with MGC for Dior womenswear.

Those collabs are great from a financial POV but I think they send a weird message in terms of vision for the brand and the designer in a long term.
