Fifty Shades of Grey

 PRAISE MAYONNAISE CHARLIE IS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the hell?! well, this movie now will be unwatchable imo LOL

imo Aaron Taylor-Johnson has no sex appeal or charisma... they tried to make him a hunk in Savages but he just doesn´t have it. He comes across more like his geeky character in Kick-A$$...

This Week's Cover: 'Fifty Shades of Grey' stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson -- EXCLUSIVE

Jamie Dornan was in his pajamas, and anxious. It was 1:30 a.m. London time, and the 31-year old actor was watching reruns of Storage Wars and praying for the phone to ring. “I was sort of pretending I wasn’t waiting, but the phone was in my hand, halfway to my ear,” Dornan says in throaty Irish brogue. He had just flown back from Los Angeles, where he had auditioned for the role of the world’s hottest control freak, Christian Grey, in Fifty Shades of Grey. Landing this part would propel him to instant stardom, and so, with his pregnant wife, actress Amelia Warner, snoozing upstairs, Dornan tried to focus on the show. Minutes later, the film’s director, Sam Taylor-Johnson (Nowhere Boy), phoned to tell the former Calvin Klein model that he was about to become the object of millions of women’s fantasies. “There was a slight fear,” Dornan says now, his wiry frame huddled on a couch in a Los Angeles photo studio. “But beyond anything else, I was really f—ing excited.”

This weeks’s Entertainment Weekly cover story features the first exclusive interviews with the two stars of the new film based on Fifty Shades of Grey, the publishing phenomenon from British author E L James — about the seduction of virginal college student Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) by a beautiful billionaire with a penchant for sadomasochism (Dornan) — that has sold 90 million copies worldwide and ignited the libidos of a generation of women.

The stars open up about what drew them to the roles, the pressures behind getting the roles right for the fans, and how they feel about baring it all. For Johnson, 24, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, it meant seriously working out for the first time in her life. “Obviously, I want to look good naked,” the newly brunette actress tells EW. “I totally understand now why people exercise, because it kind of f—ing feels awesome.”

Dornan, who spent his early days as a model frequently undressing for the camera, isn’t the least bit anxious about the graphic sex scenes he and Johnson are about to film. “I’m a fairly worldly guy,” says Dornan. “I grew up in a very liberal place. I’m not saying we had a playroom, but I’m not shocked by [the sex in the book]. It’s essential to tell the story. I can’t believe films that don’t invoke the sexual side of it. So it works for me.”

Everything also seems to be working now, too, for the studio behind the film, Universal Pictures and its indie subsidiary Focus Features, which purchased the rights to James’ trilogy back in March 2012. The studio experienced some initial bumps along the way, particularly with the initial casting (and subsequent departure) of Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy) as Christian Grey. The film, which begins production in Vancouver on Dec. 2, was originally set for release this August, but has now been pushed to Valentine’s Day weekend 2015.

The official trailer is out. The BDSM scenes look very polished.
I love this version of Crazy in Love :)

I have to admit that trailer really gets me excited about the movie (I haven't read the books though). Jamie looks amazing and I like this version of Crazy in love too ^_^

Here's the new trailer for 'Fifty Shades of Filthy.'

I know that the original material is not good but when a trailer shows you this much movie it´s a very bad sign :pink:

^i know. it´s that kind of "I have seen the complete movie in the trailer", the best scenes

So I saw the movie yesterday and I really like it! If you don't want to know anything about it, don't read what I'm going to write...

Well, I thought it was true to the book, a lot of quotes and stuff. But the only thing that I didn't like is that the movie goes too fast! I mean, if you haven't read the book you think that girl is falling in love way too fast, she barely knows that guy and in the book it takes idk how many chapters before the first kiss. I think Dakota did an amazing job playing Ana. Jamie is great too but sometimes I didn't have that feeling about him being that powerfull guy like in the books. We barely see Christian's family. You have to guess who Ana's stepfather (Ray) is. And one thing that I really really loved is the MUSIC! It was perfect imo. Loved the red rooms scenes too. And the movie is actually really funny!

Of course, every time they are adapting a book to make a movie, everyone goes "the book is better!". It will always be better because it's just impossible to tell the story of a 600 pages book to a 2 hours movie. Some scenes have been skipped, some details are missing but for 2 hours I think they did a good job.

I would love the hear what someone who hasn't read the book thought about the movie, because as I said, I really had this felling that if you didn't, you were totally lost.

I loved the book. Read all trilogy.

The movie, however, not sure. Although, I love Jamie Dornan as Grey not feelin' the luv for Dakota as Ana.

Absolutely loved it. It was very fast though.

I thought Jamie & Dakota were fantastic. Really captured the characters in the book.
He is absolute perfection

Oxymore--I have not read the books and went to see the movie yesterday with extremely low expectations, though I love a good cheesy love story, see Thief Of Hearts, my fave cheese of all times (though I am the queen of erotic novels, they're the only books I download on my Nook, "serious" novels I actually buy). I was so wrong...I love it!!! Imho, Dakota was the star, period. Her Ana was sweet/innocent, yet had an inner strength Christian was not expecting, I can see the attraction. And she was funny. Best scene was the contract negotiation. I liked Jamie's Christian, but you can tell he felt a bit awkward. Now that the movie is a huge hit, I hope he becomes more comfortable with the sequels, which I so looking forward to.

Umm am I the only one who hated the ending? It was such an awkward place to leave off. And while I liked Jamie's performance, I didn't like Dakota's. I thought she gave an awkward performance.

Thanks Aoedele!
^ I didn't like the ending too. It was too quick and Ana acutally leaves him after the last red room scene, thing that she doesn't do in the movie. I don't understand why they didn't stuck to the book for that part.
