Flatforms

I'd rather clogs than these "flatforms." A wedge or platform wedge pair of shoes/sandals/boots/sneakers are better than these. These flatforms are just wrong on a lot of levels to make me get excited for them. In fact, these might be the "jeggings" of shoes as far as "why?" I don't get these flatforms...

Maybe it's the moniker - Flatform doesn't exactly roll off the tongue. Remember these? My mom has had a pair since forever.

Ugh I really do not know how I feel about these. I like maybe two pairs but the rest are just blah. Who knows though, maybe they will make a big splash on the fashion scene.

It was bound to happen given our current obsession with flats... Not a fan tho.

screams late 90s/early 2000s to me. brings back all the fashion, hair, and makeup trauma that came with it. ;)

Oh, I adore them! The perfect effortless chic shoe! I think they would look great with a long flowy maxi skirt or just easy going with cutoff shorts and a crop top. I would even wear some black leather flatforms with a wood wedge with a black leather pencil skirt! I like that they have a kinda 90s aesthetic. :)

i've been considering a pair of kork ease for a while now...
having a hard time getting past the 'chunky' factor though...

:ermm:...

chunky shoes do NOT elongate the silhouette...
and can make one look rather 'squat'...
:ninja:...

Frye has some huarache wedges, sort of between a high heel and a flatform. I think I might get some in order to wear my long-hemmed wide-leg jeans with. For the most part, they'd be out of sight under denim, but allowing me to wear all those pants I had hemmed for stilletos.

I think ugly is what makes flatforms well flatforms. I wouldn't personally wear them they look blocky and it would be a hassle to walk in flatforms maybe Anna Dello Russo can give them a shot.

I like the chunky ones with a bit more arch. Kinda reminds me of Spice Girls... I'm probably going to buy some so I can wear heels without stumbling around. I think they'll look cute with a nice pair of tight black jeans.

I agree this is one awful comeback.
I wore a pair of these constantly in the 9th grade, mid 90s, they were my mothers - from the 70's - and I thought they were the coolest things ever.. walked miles in them all summer and thought I was so unique to mix them with Descendents tshirts et al. terrible! :p

My sister had some in the 90s and I wanted to burn them.
The only reason it didn't happen was because I was afraid of lighting matches. -_-
