oh the marni collar is stunning!.
I love sequined pieces, especially placed around the neck & collarbones . . brings so much color/liveliness to the face!.
the deep turquoise is such great color choice.

Around $2,000US & of course they are sold out..but maybe you'll be able to find them at a thrift store in a few years.

I've been meaning to post the incredible hand painted and embroidered latex Balenciaga dresses from the f/w 08 show. The images are so soft, so beautifully done....the dresses themselves look like coromandel screens or rice paper scrolls.

they also have some cool trompe l'oeil effects
when i first saw the collection, i thought it was like little pieces of latex placed on top of more latex.. like the effect of chainmail / armour...

but i guess it really is only paint!

^^I'm going to the Balenciaga trunk show tomorrow at Barney's Beverly Hills...I'm assuming those jackets will be there (If the trunk show is for the FW 08 show, which I believe it is)!!!!
