miu miu fall is going to be a beautiful collection to look at. It looks very heavy though. nina ricci caught my eye as well, such a contrast to miu miu, very interesting to see them next to each other. moon young hee and marni are incredibly gorgeous. thanks for posting these.

ah, what a treat! I’m so happy i found this thread..
lanvin, avh, comme des garcons, and yohji yamamoto have always been favorites of mine when it comes to all the rich, delicate details posted in here. I’ll have to continue looking through previous pages, but if no one has posted lanvin’s s/s 03 collection, i think it might fit in here.

god, i wish i could give you more karma, mullet, those moon young hee and nina ricci pictures are insanely gorgeous...

^i'm noticing out of a lot of her collections, she uses deconstruction pretty extensively... ?

yes :woot: ! Hehe I guess she is known for this then. I just saw Scott's post...she seems to be the one who revived it. I guess it's like her signature then

It's actually a fun way of making clothes--I had to do it myself in class... close to making collages and styling^_^

Seeing the details really makes all of these clothes so much more.... I don't even know how to describe it...

Like they are so much more worthy of our attention, our adoration, our money etc.

The work that goes into these little masterpieces really shines through and seeing the rich textures of the fabrics makes you feel that you know what it would be like to touch it even though it's not physically there...

I suppose I'm rambling but seeing these shots and angles makes it like you are seeing the clothes for the first time.. breathes new life into them ^_^

mullet, I’m eternally grateful for all the comme des garçons close up posts. :woot:
