Not sure if this is the right thread but does anybody knows if this is the newest list??

It is so silly of them to not write a date of publication. However, an article about newcomers to the list was posted 18 Aug 2014, so I am guessing the 2014 list was posted around that time. That should mean it is the newest list We probably get a new one in August

Lindsey I can understand because of her Chanel campaigns etc, but Anja? There are quite a few girls whose positions puzzle me even if this list was for 2014. It would appear the smaller campaigns pay really well because Kate Upton is up there as well. I cannot for the love of me recall any blue-chip campaign she's been featured in.

The movie "The Other Woman" came out in 2014. Could this affect Kate Uptons position on the list? She was obviously hired because she was a hyped up model, but I don't know if Forbes excludes this kind of earnings... They mention the movie as one of her achievements in 2014, so they might have included it...

Anja's been working for so long you better bet her rate is super high, so that makes sense to me. Kate Upton has a commercial for a mobile game running that (while terrible and awkward) is probably lucrative.

Anja released her own fragrance last year. So I'm guessing that's where she got most of her money. And linsey was in the list the year before so that's 2 years in a row so she must be doing something...

How is Hilary Rhoda on there? She's been dropped by Estee Lauder... so how is she earning $5 million? How is Julia Stegner not on that list? Has she been dropped by Maybelline?

This list leaves me with a lot of questions. How on Earth is someone like Erin Heatherton, a former VS angel, making more money than current angels Lily & Behati? I know she does Sports Illustrated now, but she must also be doing something else that I'm not aware. And why is Lindsey on this list? I have a hard time believing that the one Chanel rtw campaign this year paid her over a million. If that was the case Saskia de Brauw would've been on this list years ago. And where is Emily DiDonato, Julia Stegner, Lara Stone, Constance Jablonski, Bianca Balti, etc. You know, girls with major contracts? Forbes pulled these numbers out of their a$$. There's no way that some of these are correct.

She does have the Versace Vanitas Fragrance contract. She's been the face since 2010. Then again Toni Garn has her versace fragrance contract since 2009 and she's not on this list.
The list is crap. There is no way Gisele makes that much. Does that figure include her sandals company?

Lindsey on the list doesn't really shock me she has good commercial work last year e.g: Aldo, Chanel, Brazilian clothing brand Ellus, Chinese brand Ochirly and Gap China, Trussandi, and the fragrance for Versace must be paying her well, she did quite well last year.

Thanks mods for moving my comment over here. This is a strange list for sure but if the numbers are correct it goes to show the money in modeling is not always in the same place as the "status". Good to see Daria on there.

I don't see how Anja is a surprise to anyone...it's not like she's not getting a steady stream of work. She has like fifty fragrance contracts in addition to her own fragrance so of course she's making bank.

Also, most of the models on this Forbes list are on the MDC "Money Girls" list which, in my opinion, is more strange than this one.

Hasn't Gisele herself claimed that she doesn't make as much as this list claims? I'm sure this list isn't 100% accurate and is more based off of the PR that some of these girls have.

Short of having their tax documents, there is no way to know how much those girls make. And even then, the figures may not be real. The figures from Forbes are completely based on estimates, guesses from regulatory filings from fashion houses/cosmetic firms, etc, that are publicly traded, probably PR nonsense, and BS from the girls' agents.

Could be. And if that's the case then it means they look at each the consolidated income of these girls, which might be made up from activities beyond just modelling. Then Kate makes sense, Gisele too with those sandals, and Karlie with those biscuits (but that's like selling lemonade on your lawn, isnt it?). I just hope it's audited, and not taken without verfication. Probably the new list this year should include the likes of Kendall, Binx, Julia Nobis, Natasha Poly etc. I predict Gisele will still be on top what with her Chanel association.

I would assume Roxy is a high paying contract (re Erin), I know it used to be huge dollars

Alana Zimmer, Ava Smith, CBN, Cora Emmanuel, Esther Heesch, Herieth Paul, Janice Alida, Karlina, Kel Markey, Marique, Samantha, Sara Blomqvist and Tess Hellfeuer don't earn that much at all. When they all weren't credible enough anymore for the original lists they all moved from other lists to the Money list.
Even more prove that MDC takes bribes from agencies to put girls in their fast declining irrelevant lists.

God, I just had a look at MDC's high earners. How does that work, seasonally or annually? Either way, so many girls on there who's financial performance I seriously question. I mean, Esther Heesch and Tess Hellfeuer??
