She's been looking amazing at these shows. There's something about her that makes her glow

I'm interested to see her in the Woody Allen film. She's very beautitul and well-dressed but didn't show much acting ability or screen presence in Slumdog.

I agree. I think it's sort of ironic how Dev was the star of the film and his next movie is a Nickelodeon film and Freida barely in it for fifteen minutes gets the Woody Allen film.

isn't Dev's next movie with M. Night Shyamalan?

I was worried about that for Dev. He's really talented. I could see him in like a fantasy type movie like Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings. I hope his talent doesn't go to waste. There aren't a lot of A-List Indian actors, and he could really help open that door!

he's not Indian btw :) I mean not that he's British, but he doesn't have Indian background

I read somewhere that his parents are of Indian heritage but born and bred in Africa. Can anyone confirm that?

Not to get too off-topic, but the Nickelodeon movie and the M Night Shyamalan movie are the same project, Avatar: The Last Airbender. And, if the studio had hired a better director and/or casting director who was more faithful to the very critically acclaimed show, I'd have no doubts that Avatar would end up being better than Pinto's Woody Allen film. I think Allen's newer films have been pretty overrated, and it's not like I'm expecting another Annie Hall or anything.

I didn't know that, thanks for clarifying :flower:
I do agree that Shyamalan's movie could possibly be more successful than Allen's

Dev is a great fit for prince Zuko :p

Here's a thread for Dev is you guys want to discuss him/his style:

Freida's role in Woody Allen's film could be small. I'm not expecting much. But at least we'll get to see her at premieres looking lovely. Her stylist is amazing. From looking at older pics of her pre-Slumdog, she doesn't seem to have any personal style. At least she looked plain when compared to other Indian models/actresses in Mumbai that are her age (like Sonam Kapoor - who has amazing style and Deepika Padukone).
