Maybe Chanel, what do you guys think?

After exhibiting in the bustling capitals of Denmark and Sweden, photographer Peter Farago and his stylist wife Ingela Klemetz-Farago are taking Northern Women in Chanel, their ethereal portfolio of Baltic and Scandinavian models, a little farther afield. The location? A remote spot on a tiny island off the coast of Norway called Verdens Ende, which literally translates into English as the end of the Earth. “When we found out the name of the place, we almost fainted—it was so perfect,” he says. The stony curvilinear landscape and magical rock pools are an otherworldly setting for Farago’s images of bewitching Chanel-clad muses like Freja Beha Erichsen, Helena Christensen, and Carmen Kass. The Faragos have been known to cross icy glaciers and ancient forests in their quest for the perfect backdrop, and the latest leg of the book tour brings their work to an entirely new place: Each picture is silicone mounted without a frame so that the landscape creates a tableau in and of itself. “The light during these summer months is so beautiful,” says Farago, who with the help of Chanel is celebrating the opening tonight with a private party and dinner on the islets that make up Verdens Ende. “It can be pink one moment and then orange the next, so the exhibition looks different depending on the day and time.” Clearly a sight worth traveling to the end of the Earth to see.

oh I know it's so cliche, but I just can't, I miss Freja![]()
