French Style!

As you have seen I have read that thread, ta-ta. The layering I am speaking of looks a lot more effortless/natural to me than most of the pics in that thread.

http://www.leblogdebetty.com is a good example.

^ I like the last outfit especially.

I see what you mean, mermaidsandcats. The layering still has a slouchiness and ease to it.

I love the look of those thin, plain gold necklaces you sometimes see on actresses and in films. (If you haven't, then you certainly will now.) It seems to be a French trend, but I'm not sure. Very elegant anyway, and yet casual at the same time.

I like the layering of the French, though not sure if i could work a waistcoat over a jacket combo...

Her style is very Japanese.

Yeah, I would not call her style typically French.

What I do wonder is..why is tartan so trendy in Paris..is it because of Isabel Marant or?

It seems like they all have a plaid/tartan shirt and don't really seem to care if 'everyone' has one.

Me too! I agree that her overall style is not typically French, but she has that gamine quality that is very French to me.

^OMG! We do bath/shower everyday!! Well at least I do and everyone I know does! Can't believe such an awful and so wrong cliché is still around! They're crappy people everywhere.

It's the same over here (the UK), they are everywhere.

^^Well, it's english so it has to be UK or USA, right? Does anyone else have this issue or know exactly which one it is? TIA!

August 2006, I believe, and since there's a dollar sign within the text, I imagine it's the US version.
