Nice buy, Jun3... meanwhile, I know Frye is like, the master at boots.. but I happened to pick up some Frye skimmer flats in this amazing ecru/nude color recently... I'm trying to find a pic online, but all I can find is the same shoe in black.. and they look weird in black..
the leather is AMAZING on these... you can tell where the quality goes on Frye shoes/boots.

Does anyone have both the Engineer and Veronica Slouch style? I'm a 7.5 in the Engineers and someone on ebay is selling a bunch of Veronicas in all sizes. Should I get the same size, or do Veronicas fit different?

does anyone have trouble putting on knee high frye boots without a zipper? i want a pair but i want to be able to tuck my jeans into them when it snows. seems like it would be awfully hard without a zipper.
or...
anyone know of any flat black knee high frye boots with an un-chunky toe that has a zipper?

hi does anyone have any tips for comfort for frye boots, i have some belted harness ones that i've had for quite a while, but can never where them because no matter how or when i put them on, i get terribly painful blisters at the back of my ankles, please help, i really love them, and dont want to part with them.

As I recall, it takes a long time to break them in. Meanwhile, I recommend you put band-aids or something on your heels before you wear the boots/get the blisters, during the break-in period.

I really need to get those! They are perfection - but I can't find them anywhere anymore- Where can I buy them? Are they not available anymore? I can only find them in black - but I need brown! Please help me - please!!!

I have the Veronica Slouch, and they're fantastic and so comfortable, I love them. I first fell in love with Frye after seeing the 8" Engineer boots (which I still need to get!), but yesterday bought Veronice Lace Inside Zip boots in Chestnut. Can't wait until they get here! They had them in black too, which seemed too stompy and biker, but this colour is beautiful. I'm going to wear them with skinnies and a thick sock just poking out, or maybe a dress. They'll be lovely and warm for winter, and are going to look better and better as they wear.

I really really want the Paige Tall Riding. Has anyone seen them for less than 350 anywhere? I want to wear them for my rehearsal dinner and then have them for wear with my skirts and dresses as I wear one almost everyday. My mom said she would buy me some but thought 350 was too much. She also usually doesnt go on ebay either. Help!!

I'm surprised you can even find the Paige Tall Riding since I think they sold out pretty easily last season. I doubt you'll find them on sale though you might try active endeavors, shopbop or zappo's if you haven't already

Yeah I found them a few places, I guess I'm just going to suck it up and buy them myself but now I can't decided if I want the Paige tall riding or the Paige Cuff. I am wearing a black cashmere v neck with a longish tweed skirt, and as I said before I wear lots of skirts and dresses, does anyone own either and have opinions???
