The cow thing reminded me of the random angels around Los Angeles.
LA is the city of angels, so at least that make sense. :p

I'm going to go find pictures of the Snoopy's around MN.

Non-déjà-vu

Many of my pieces are born in the gap between what we see and what we think we see, even if this apprehension only lasts for a short moment. What interests me is to try to register this, to measure the fickleness of situations. A kind of intraordinary yardstick, all so human.
What I have in mind for 'Statements' is a portrait of a situation.A situation formed by figures, objects and time as its collaborators. A story where lines of perspective and interpretation intersect. A space of allusions in two and three dimensions. The scale is not exactly 1:1 but slightly out of proportion to give presence or deliberate distance. All very familiar yet of a specific weight. In the periphery of the visual fields, before your mind knows what it saw - an explicit notion. Reality is only the top of the iceberg.

Oh my goodness! Where is that Transformer statue! I have to see that one in person! And as for the Snoopys, I hate that concept! We used to have cows (or pigs...or some other barnyard thing) in Iowa. They were kind of funny to begin with, but the novelty quickly wore off.
