I've searched Gerard Darel and only found its Handbag thread. I hope it's OK that I start a seperate thread?

I was curious about the price range of certain items. If anyone here works there and could provide me some info on the brand and its products (other than the handbags), I'd be really grateful. :flower:

I was in their store in Marseille and from what I can remember, the price is pretty affordable for designer. Shirts were about 200€, pullovers about 300€ and they had a gorgeous tweed jacket for about the same price. Also very nice black boots for about 500€.

A reply at last! :woot:
Thanks satin chic.
Now I need to find out how much are the pants and skirts...

^^ like this one? Me too.

i've only recently discovered that they have clothes...
from what i saw on the website...
it's pretty nice stuff...

sort of somewhere between APC and chloe in a way...
:p

I would'nt say that Gerard Darel is "designer" it's more like Comptoir des Cotonniers for richer bourgeoises. I mean it's trendy clothes in a little more luxurious fabrics but there's no real creativity or research in this brand.

Their real coup was a marketing one.

First building up on the Jackie O myth with their pearl necklace and then getting Charlotte Gainsbourg as their image... As a result, this whole revamping publicity with the help of celebrities means expensively unjustified clothes and bags that every single Parisian girl and their mothers tote around...

But then I do want the knitted bag

I have one baby blue wool sweater by Gerard Darel and I really love it!
It fits perfectly!

nice clothes, more affordable. I have the Jackie O pearls in black, I love them!

this is my kind of dressing.
i looks so comfortable and understated sexy...
i really like the knit handbag. :)

i think that everyone really likes that knitted handbag...:p
add me to the list...

i agree aby, it's a great marketing campaign that they came up with ...and it WORKED...

:innocent:
