Get Knock Off Purses

Exactly. You'll never be able to stop designer bags filtering down to the High street, and I quite like seeing what's been inspired by which designer .
But Ebayers selling fakes, esp when they describe a fake as genuine, that makes me

Yes I have a few knockoffs and I personally dont see anything wrong with them... p.s. you wouldnt be able to tell that they are knockoffs

I dont carry them out a lot..but if I did... I wouldnt lie that they are real but no one has ever asked me

i hva some knock offs, first of all because i don`t have enough money for the real thing yet. second, i would rather have a bag that is completely like the original, than to get a bag thats ripping of a designer bag shape. i have only bought very special knock offs, with shapes and looks thats not very common.

Yeah I once liked a bag I saw in a window and I didn't know til years later it was a copy of a bag by Gucci(I think) I thought it was cute...I didn't know any better I was like 10!...but other than that I do not purchase knock-off's sometimes I have cheaper bags that remind me of a shape of a designer bag, but that's inspired, but not copying it.

But I hate people who buy fakes like Louis Vuitton just to be part of the trend. It's like as if they didn't know its a fake LV....and they pass it off as a LV and totally just take your happiness away at having a real by flooding the area with the fakes..... ( I have a sore thumb about that LOL... I was ranting in another topic about Louis Vuitton..lol I guess I didnt rant enough)

Other bags though that people have no clue are designer knock off but buy em just cuz they like the look, good for them, not everyone has to be a devotee of couture like me.

Yes...I would NEVER buy a bag to be part of a trend, I buy because the mere sight of the bag has made my heart beat faster and I gotta have it not because I've seen 10 celebs with it in one week. I dont care who its by or how "fashionable" it is. And if someone truly loves fashion and desperately wants a bag who am I to condemn them if all they can afford or all they could find was a knockoff.
I remember when the shops were flooded with Balenciaga Bag lookalikes. I went and bought the first one I didn't know enough about the original and there was no way you could get the original in Scotland anyway.
Now of course we have Harvey Nicks (to the detriment of my wallet)
But I've moved on from there, for example I couldn't buy a fake Birkin or even a High Street one. Now my attitude is, if I love it that much, I want the original.

I would NEVER buy a fake bag. I feel bad for people on Ebay who pay all that money thinking they are getting a real designer bag & it makes me mad when you see designer bags totally copied at places like JC Pennys! I dont mind inspired bags so much but when they are to close to the look of the designer bags I just think... come ON be ORIGINAL! Like the LV inspired D&B bags...they are just silly!

YES!!! why not doesn't matter. THe only reason I woudln't get a knock off THOUGH is IF THE bag looked FAKE!!! and not as good as the original otherwise yes.

I'm on the never side- after spending the past 5 days @ Disney World- let me tell you, I wanted to chase people with obviously fake purses down and yell at them. I did see this one woman who had the prettiest Chanel purse (I got my mom to ask her where she got it- the store in New York she said... now my mom's like, hmm.. maybe in June when we go to NYC we should go by Chanel- she loved the purse)

the thing that bothers me about knock offs so much is not that they're made it's that people actually buy them. they're just being lazy and instead of either 1. saving, they're just being LAZY. i hate how people don't want to be original.

Sorry i disagree. Not everyone in my opinion buys a knock off purse because they are lazy. Some people cannot afford to .

i agree with u.......how in the world does that mean their lazy, it doesnt. One) some people can't afford it , two) some people just dont care if they have a fake or not, three) some people would just get a fake so they have more money to spend on other things that they want, and who really cares if someone has the original i mean, peope who are filthy rich or are a celebrity should be paying that much money for a purse, otherwise i don't think people should pay that much. Also, some bags are ugly and yet i know ppl who still pay alot for the original but it's really ugly but bc it's the original and it's the new item for the season they get it. One more thing, besides the people who are really into fashion, some people who are not into fashion or pay that much attention to this stuff are just clueless of what is a fake and what is not, so they really couldn't tell if someone is wearing a fake bag. ALSO soem people buy fakes, the people who really follow trends like mad which i think is dumb, i mean for ppl who will absolutely not wear anything from last season just because it's out,,,, but for them if that trendy person makes average income they would probably want a fake bag because season after season to get it would get to be expensive. ALSO what happens if someone steals the bag, well that's alot of money down the drain. The fact that some people get soo mad about this topic from what i have seen is well rather bizzard and blah, relax fake or not who really cares. I do agree though that the quality of the original is alot better, but to some ppl they just dont' care especially if they have bundles of bags!

I don't buy fakes, I prefer to have the real thing. I'm amused or disgusted by some of the fakes I see, but I'm not really passionate about the issue. Mostly curious.

Relax, and let people carry as many fakes as they can handle...

i understand some can't afford the real deal, that's why there are other shops that are slightly cheaper than designer shops, for people who can afford it.
i would rather have something original for 150 bucks than a knock off of something.

I think it is both arrogant and insulting to trash someone for buying a knock off purse. To me people who put themselves into debt or struggle to save up for a designer item are the ones who should be criticized. There are far more important things in life than a handbag. If someone likes a particular style of handbag they shouldn't be prevented from enjoying the fashion simply because they don't have tons of disposable income. Personally, I am hoping to find a knock off of the new Chloe bag. If I find one I will definitely buy it because I refuse to spend so much over $1,000 on what is basically a simple bag with fake jewels.
