when i first read the title of this thread i thought- no!!! it was spring's futurism that really turned me off.
...but this season is definately a new incarnation i love the idea of shine mixed with a big, chunky knit (as opposed to everything shine, like last season). so in that case, good eye for nuance, softgrey! (and francesca, and chrissym for that matter)

thanks em! my favorite looks here are the ones where there is definitely a stark contrast between the shiny and the soft - knits, wools, cottons. the wunderkind and westwoods are amazing - i love the overall color at westwood.
