Giambattista Valli S/S 2023 Paris

The freshest collection we've had from Valli in the past half-decade.

Better than his usual stuff, but still overly saccharine and slightly putrid. But thank the heavens that the use of tulle was dialed down by many, many notches.
I agree. A more minimal, sober colour palette like in his label's early years would do him well.

Much better than what I was expecting.
Can't say the same about his personal style.

gorgeous show, this is return to form! hardly any of those bows as well. i absolutely love the gold pieces, the shoes, stunning.

The awful gelled hair and the tacky jewelry don’t do this collection any favors and in spite of it I do sense a strong improvement…look 13 is so easy on the eyes. I see some of his signature draping once again, it’s beautiful as ever and it makes me so happy after so many tule monstrosities.

There are quite a few reprehensible looks (that pink lace getup is just cheap!) but I can look past them.

better than his last collections definitely! love the draped miniskirts! some of the dresses too.

hopefully, he’ll stay on (this) the right path.

Why does this look like a Bryant Park show from 15-20 years ago and not in a good way.
