they do look dior-ish and Lanvin esque but they have their own distinctive quality. I thought I saw a pair on LVR just the other day though? And I bet Mona Moore stocks them in Quebec....or could get them in. I still love them though. So fab and outrageous. Would be so great with skinny jeans or a really demure outfit.

Ha, I know, sorry, I couldn't think of a better way to describe them apart from 'platform stilettos' and I spelt stiletto wrong but the pictures of the second post took so long to upload it wouldn't let me edit the first post
I love that pair also, very nouveau.
Hardly anyone dares to wear these shoes, I want someone on the 'What are you wearing today' thread to surprise me by wearing a pair!

They're apparently about six inches, so yes, just over fifteen centimetres.

I think his shoes are amazing, and they sure are used alot in edits, i especially love these CROC platforms from Autumn/Winter 07.08.

Giambattista said in an interview that after Mrs.Beckham wore these they were sold out the next day, probably why he named the next seasons shoe after her.

Miss D those shoes are fantastic. Especially that yellow pair.

The looks in the collection were mainly black and just really small amounts of colour drew attention and the shoes were used to such effect - wonderful collection.
