She's promoting this campaign for an association called Live below the Line. It challenges people to live with only 1$50 a day from the 16th to the 20th of may, so people realize how 1.25 billion people struggle to live daily. In addition to this they ask to raise money for some charities (they listed three on their site, one of them being an association for Haiti that Gillian has already supported)

And she just finished her fifth day.

I love how engaged she is, and how much she is doing for others/how she is using her growing notoriety(popularity)
