Boring, but happy for Sophia. She's gorgeous.

Happy for Sophia as well!
Shot by Mert & Marcus, if a mod can change the title

^Done! Also a few other girls are in this Giorgio Armani campaign too, as I noticed in the March issue of UK Harper's Bazaar.

^ Very curious to see who the rest is.

God how I love Sophia. She's absolutely stunning and a great model. But I must admit, she's a random choice but hey, that's what Armani's all about.

Very happy for Sophia as well. Hope this campaign could revive her career. Was sad to not see her everywhere in the past few seasons...

Random but quite nice overall. TBH I was really hoping a stronger model would get this campaign (Saskia, Liu, Liya, Amanda M, Kati Nescher, Aymeline).

Maartje Verhoef & Heather Kemesky got the campaign for S/S 2017 again.

Good for Heather and Maartje for booking the campaign again, but Armani should have gone with Mathilde Brandi instead, she had the best pictures in the FW16 campaign!

Which shots are you referring to? I can't remember seeing any of her shots..

Meh the rest of the cast doesn't excite me at all. Major disappointment.

I'm going to be that annoying SJW today & say that Armani needs more diversity in their shows & campaigns. When was the last time a girl of color was in a Giorgio Armani ad? I know they feature Asian models in their Emporio line occasionally, but it's just that: occasionally. He should be called out more often for this. You cannot tell me that his clothes wouldn't look good on someone who isn't white. It's ridiculous.

Her shots were released pretty late and I don't remember seeing them in mags, but you can see them here

& agree with valliaddict, they need more diversity in the mainline campaign.

Oddly enough, he doesn't have a black celebrity spokesperson either. Only Zhang Ziyi, who is of course Chinese. In all fariness, he does feature at other MOC in his Emporio line, not just Asians. It's not so much that his clothes won't look good, it's most likely that he doesn't thinkit will look good on them. Or worse, just doesn't care about it all.

This campaign does nothing for me. It's really a continuation of last season's dull dishwater. Maartje's hair colour is beautiful, but that's about it for me.
And I see Marcus is actually the one behind the lens, does it mean this newfound gloomy type of photography is all his doing? Hate it!

Has a kind of soft moody evening look to it. Even with the day wear. Looking forward to seeing the rest.
