fashismypash, the one you have is an 07FW one with shiny, gorgeous pliable leather. 07 was the year they made their 'Gales without the zipper on the shoulder patch.

^ If you're referring to the one I posted, I couldn't find on the official site, and googling around I only saw the medium version which its measurements are listed as:

Length 40cm-16"
Height 25cm-9"
Depth 17cm-7"
Handle drop is approx. 10cm-4"

i know most of the nightingales on ebay are fake, but was wondering if this one is actually authentic? it's supposedly the medium size of the 'gale with lizard (ostrich foot?) handles.

Hmm....I have a nightengale I bought at barneys. Honestly I thought it was fake at first and now I am not sure. If I were you I would just buy it from a store. It is safer and you will feel more confident buying it.

It is always easier telling if a bag is fake or not in person.
