Givenchy F/W 13.14 Paris

Pardon my french but this is the worst colection Riccardo has ever produced and problably the worst colection of the whole Paris Fashion Week.
Its a shame that he is running out of ideas and has to put everything he is known for on the same colection. And what is that hair?

I can't take the clothes seriously because of how terrible the hair and makeup were. Everyone looked awful. But in all honestly, the collection wasn't much better either.

I was going through the show on style.com hoping every time the next look would be the last. It just kept getting worse. It was either awful or a reiteration of something he already did.

The orange/yellow print is stunning, but everything else was a let down. Some looks I could even see Kim K in!

i don't even get why he would bother having anthony hegarty singing with a full orchestra at the show to present THIS MESS. I can't. i haven't seen the final looks yet but i'm not getting my hopes high.

I like the rose-motif jackets, like the ones on Cat and Maria but otherwise I find this collection to be a huge disappointment. S/S 2013 was glorious; probably my favourite Givenchy collection under Tisci, but this one is like a poor man's version of F/W 2011 with the graphic jumpers and sheer skirts.

I actually thoroughly enjoyed it, it's a more fairy tale form of what he presented back in fall 2011. The pink, gold & blue are very contrasting against the black texture and prints. Yes, I'm extremely pleased with this collection, I couldn't agree that this lacks anything, I was totally mesmerized, which I find is hard to be when I look at a Givenchy collection.

An absolute trainwreck, possibly the worst collection Riccardo ever did. Was this supposed to be a kind "greates hits" collection like Prada did? Because there's not one thing here that we haven't seen in past shows. Some of the looks are like Zuhair Murad copying Givenchy. And what's with the Comme des Garçons hair and styling? Is Panos responsible for this? Ugly, ugly , ugly.

I think that the final part looks great because it reminds me of Riccardo's work for pre-fall. Aside from that, everything's just bad. Too much of everything. I even tried not to see the hair but it didn't help the clothes. It hurts to say this as he is (used to be?) one of my favorites.

Not feeling it at all! I can't say it's bad but come on, where is the creativity? Throwing together four of your previous collections isn't interesting or appealing for a designer of Givenchy's calibré.

The hair is the only thing I liked.
