Givenchy F/W 13.14 Paris

This is so bad. The fact that Nicole Phelps called this a contender for "show of the season" is truly outrageous. This is terrible!

Yeah I read the review, well its confirmed she has an IQ of a raisin:innocent:
While there are some nice pieces , like the pants, and some tops, over all its a mess and reminded me of desigual for some reason.

The performance of Antony would have been more adapted to the previous collection. Poor him, singing for models wearing Bambi sweaters, seriously ?

RICCARDO STOP WITH THOSE UGLY SWEATERS YOU'VE BEEN DOING FOR TOO MANY SEASONS
PLEASE

Givenchy just keeps getting worse. It used to be my go to, can't wait collection every season; but that feeling has long since died. I can't even bear to look at this for any length of time it's so bloody ugly (and not in an interesting-ugly way either).

The idea makes sense when he speaks about it but the execution is wrong

Easy, easy, 8 year is a quite long time which can change a lot. I admit Tisci has already shifted to another field of expressing his mysterious asethetics, however, come on, you are gonna be sick of his works if he continues his early breathtaking(I also admit) Givenchy pieces. Why do guys buy the exact similar conceptions of Comme for instance while throwing up to Tisci's workouts? The furious floral parts are full of passion and the leathery peplumed looks are great as well. The final ones, it's far more contrasting though.

those belt? is he serious...i must applaud him for even brave enough to send it out on the runway...other than that...I think it s pretty solid collection...minus the styling!

I don't even know what to say. I disliked it so much when I first saw it that now I'm starting to somewhat like it?

This collection is like an awful 50s sci-fi film. So bad it's good. Or just bad.

I like it, it looks weird but somehow it always works.

I don't really get all the hate.. Is it all that bad? I actually think its wearable and cool as always. The floral prints are splendid and the boots work together with them as well. And that brown and black fur jacket is too die for, amongst others...it's gothic meets folklore!

I don't think it's THAT bad, but it can't compare to previous collections.

Do we really need an homage to Rei Kawakubo from Ricardo Tisci?

Wow. This collection is one of the most hideous collections I've ever seen. I can't believe Nicole Phelps is calling this the show of the season. These clothes were designed to be worn by every street style hag, which disgusts me. What happened to you, Riccardo? You used to be so incredible - your ideas so pure and so sensitive. There's not a single look in this entire show that is remotely beautiful or flattering. It looks like such a poor man's Comme des Garcons or Junya Watanabe - I say this because neither Junya or Rei would be so unimaginative as to make these heinous digital print sweatshirts or to make jackets and coats with leather sleeves - that looks is SO over. COME ON!

I really have no taste for Tisci anymore.

apparently i'm quite in the minority, but i am really liking this collection, actually. i love the richness of the colours and textures. the Bambi print isn't my fav, but it's definitely on trend and will sell well for the brand. i love the sheer skirts and even the bathing caps are sorta cool and different!

really enjoyed!
