Gladiator Sandals

The Gladiator Sandals on Vanessa Hudgens (Post #758) look pretty nice. For a guy not normally in love with gladiator sandals, there have been exceptions I've been willing to make. Those do look nice in that picture. Sometimes, shoes look better when worn on models. I now like those sandals a bit more after seeing these on Vanessa Hudgens.

In all-black, those gladiators (Post #762) don't look all that good. The mahogany/natural mix works better than those sandals in all black. At least, to me.

I don't really like gladiator sandels they make you look short!!!!!

^not necessarily true! i'm barely 5 ft 3 and the flat ones don't make me look any shorter than i am. the tall ones (i have the nine west heech) can be really cute. i sometimes wear black "over the heel" leggings (like stirrup leggings) with the black NW heeches and they really extend the legs..

^ Really, I'm about the same hight and everytime I try a pair on it's like my leggs are shrinking. The ones you posted from aldo are interesting.

^lol i think i know what you mean--the height at which the ankle straps are placed plays a key role in this...sometimes you can get gladiators without the "leg shortening" ankle straps.

The gladiator sandals aren't a strappy nightmare, but I don't like the style of those gladiator sandals (trying to avoid saying "gladiators" to mean "gladiator sandals") that much. They are fairly manageable.

justine i LOVE the second pair! are they real balmain or balmain KO's? they are so pretty and badass at the same time.

vivalavida the ones you posted from miss selfridges are really cute, and quite cheap too. the white stitching gives a nice tribal touch i think.
