Gladiator Sandals

where can i find some gladiators that go up the leg more? like mary-kate's

Voleuse -- urbanoriginal (ebay) has knee high 'patent' ones.. If you can cope with man made material, - they are only about $ 25 - and very chanel-ish..
ahh these are what i've been looking for! they totally irk me with the shipping fees, tho. $10.99 for FedEx ground is crazy!! Altogether these babies would be 50 bucks. i wonder what the quality is like.

Here are my brown gladiator wedges from Nine West:

ilovecouture, they look great!

what color does everyone like these in more?
I am feeling the brown more than the black, i think it would match more in the summer.
what are everyones thoughts?

Thanks guys!

Shutter - I find them comfy, but keep in mind that I wear 4 inch CL's on an almost daily basis! The leather is so soft too.

Alexis - the black ones looked too hard on me if that makes sense. When I came back and tried on the brown, I loved them. I immediately pictured wearing them with shorts for the summer. I think you should get the ones that work the best with your wardrobe.

i bought these at kohl's the other day. they were really cheap!! $26.99 or something haha

Those are cute!

I love the nine west ones. I saw them in person today and they are great. They didn't have the black leather, only the black sort of snakeskin leather. In case you didn't see in the yay or nay or secret shopaholics, these are mine from asos.com:

I'm really smitten by the tall gladiator sandals myself but trying to decide if they are a good long term investment. How long does everyone think this trend will last and what would you wear the tall ones with? I'm in Florida and like a lot of boho styles so I'm thinking of wearing some earth toned ones with flowy sundresses. Just wondering if I should indulge or save my money for a more practical shoe.

It might not be a good long term investment, - and sure it is a trend, - but with any trend, I think you need to consider how it will work in your personal wardrobe??

I am a fan as well, and I am sure they will stay with after the trend is over, as I think they look cool with short loose - Phillip Lim(-ish) dresses etc, which go again every season in my wardrobe...

I've been thinking bout getting them for a while now but didn't know what size to get. I read reviews you had to size down.

I tried those Nine West sandals on and I don't think you need to go a size down. I sometimes need to go down half a size for heeled shoes, but my normals size for these gladiators fit just fine. :)

^^^ I like the Delia's pair! What do you mean by slippery?
