glamour to me is defined by opulence, luxury and excess...

I agree- I love audry hepburn- But I see here as kind of the other end of the spectrum. Refined, elegant -retrained- but too timid & well mannered to be considered glamourous

Audry Hepburn= Chic

i can't associate it with celebs today, just with past icons

eg. natalie wood - always wore 5 inch heels, fur, gardenia perfume and beautiful jewelery....and she pulled it off

To me, glamour means looking fabulous, being comfortable in your own skin, and exuding classiness and elegance. And some fine jewlery doesn't hurt .

"Glamour" to me means classy,well groomed,glossy,self-assured and luxurious. Certain celebrities are not glamourous,sorry Paris,Nicole and Lindsay fans....
