modest+mysterious+laid back+confident+humorous+fearless+kind

i completely agree that 'cool' is something we're drawn to in people that are. It's the x-factor, that something. You can identify someone with it but can't pinpoint it. I also agree with the comment that there is a darker side to cool.
Perhaps that is what makes it so attractive: the mysterious edge...where does it come from? someone can of course look 'cool,' but the moment they open their mouths....ahem...
Marlon Brando was pretty 'cool,' imo.

What means "cool" or "being cool" for you?
It can mean that you have lots of friends, and everyone is interested in you.
Actually for me it means that you are always yourself, don`t matter too much about the others opinion and stay calmed down in every situation.

It´s funny, no "cool person" will confess that he/she is cool, nor they will tell you if they are really like that or if they are acting.
Anyway, interesting topic.

What do you think makes cool persons "cool"?
Does it come, when the person ist not interested (anymore) in being cool?
(is it all about the same?and if it is not, why do often the same persons seem cool to different persons?..maybe it has to do something with aura too; just write)

i'll add this:
cool is what you dont know, what you dont have and dont get.
it is the object of desire.

but that being said, it doesnt mean you can not be cool.
everyone is cool at given moment, even your parents, the homeless man or cab driver.

perception is tricky. it is ever changing. you either have "it" or "not", is a complete bullsh*t. think about it.
