An all-black cover isn't diversity, much like an all-white one isn't.
I think your comment lacks context. The issue here is that whiteness has been seen as default and the epitome of beauty for centuries. There has never been a time(particularly in fashion) where whiteness has been seen as less than or not beautiful. So creating spaces where blackness is celebrated and centered is extremely positive and necessary. We won't ever reach a post-racial era if we pretend that centering blackness has the same implications to white people as centering whiteness has to people of colour. The circumstances for each case are completely different as whiteness has historically been presented as the ideal.
