Apologies for reviving this with no valuable information and just curiosity 
: does anyone have any idea why you need to register for 2013 tickets and why you need a passport-like picture for the registration? it's one of the silliest things I've seen for a festival (besides Coachella tickets going on sale a year in advance!).. but I suppose there must be a reason for it?
