^exactly. put on the wellies and your most hated clothes(ones one wouldn't mind dirty)and enjoy....as i've been told,it's really an experience behold...one that will resonate. it's the last of a dying breed in that it's still one of very few fests. that still practices the same free-spirited,anti-corporate atmosphere it did when it began...and all the proceeds go solely to oxfam,greenpeace and water aid.
that's one of the reasons everyone was so up in arms about jay-z opening this year. that because he was such mainstream american(capitalistic),hip-hop artist and talked about money and all that,he did not represent the spirit of the fest....not enough to open anyway.
