Goldfrapp

Thanks for posting. I should have known to check their myspace and I rather preview the album hearing the whole songs, instead of just little samples.

i just love the last one

i loved when Goldfrapp made an appearence in one of The L Word episodes! That was wicked!

oh wow, even the art work harks back to felt mountain. and i love that alison does the art direction.....you just DO NOT see that with most artists these days.

I know it's annoying but it's typical when there's one female in a group that the female ends up getting more attention.

I love the album.

thankfully, alison isn't one of the ego personalities.....she ALWAYS says its the two of them, not only her,and always talks of will if she's being the one interviewed singularly. basically saying it's their work not one or the other. those two are really of the same soul i think and that's why the music is always so inspiring. they just have such beautiful musical relationship. alison, she's just the one does the promo work because will isn't really one for spotlight....and she's actually come to be very comfortable with it all because at the beginning it was she that was soooooooooooo shy and timid, hiding beneath that big hunting parka and sunglasses and hardly speaking much...will actually did most of the talking when felt mountain came out....and she still is very shy,if the oft sunglassed persona is indicative. but now that alison's become a bit more accustomed with the platform,he's become very much a behind the scenes kind of person...

oh yeah, the title was actually started as a style thread for alison. but since it's evolved more into the band as a whole,musically...perhaps,a change to purely goldfrapp would suffice.

I heard this album is a lot more mellow than past ones...

btw,the lyric from clowns is 'only clowns play with dumb balloons'....

The new album is fab, I love dancy Goldfrapp, but I think I like trippy soothing (^^^ totally agree, it is soothing!) Goldfrapp better.
