I really love that skirt! Looks great with the fishnets as well-actually like the top as well. Where's it from may i ask? I'll probably never be able to afford it and i'm in england anyway. Not sure if i'd wear them together but separately. I love the gothic style skirts in this thread!

it is a really nice top...though it's really just a basic black top with ribbons sewn onto it. it'd be quite easy to find a black top and customise it yourself.

I hate the music and the attitude, especially the ones who think they can pull the look off when they can't at all.. mostly those teenagers. with the juge ugly boots.. spikes.. etc.. They seem to be trying WAY too hard

I don't have a problem with EGL or the other looks though.
It can be nice IF the person can actually pull it off and choose gothic clothing with taste.
I've only seen it look really good on asian people so far.

This gothy girly at my school (one of the few at the school with real style) pulled off the gothic lolita look a week or so ago... she looked AMAZING... she also does some of the mac/scene kind of makeup.... and she has my tutu in dark purple

i think the whole big boots and spikes thing is more "punk" than it will ever be "gothic", its just that the whole 'darkness' of the two seem to get them lumped into one group.

as for only asian people looking good gothic, what about this girl who's been posted all over this thread? i think she looks great, personally

in my city there has been this sudden plethora of goths and punks, i find the look only works when its really embraced.. you cant just decide hey i want a mohawk today and it expect it to look like a punk, i saw this guy a few weeks ago with a 30 cm mohawk which was obviously superglued ( you dont see this sort of thing in brisbane often). i think u need to have the guts to superglue your hair to convey the confidence that you dont give a sh*t what other people think of how you look, therefore being punk.
Anyway yesterday i saw this guy in the city, yes a guy i thought it was girl but on closer inspection it was a guy, wearing a long black dress, black Dr.Martins, black gloves and if any of you have seen "The Others" when the little girl is playing with that puppet with a veil/hat over her head?, he was wearing one of those which was also black and as i got closer her had red lipstick on and had long black hair. ive never seen anyone dress as out there as this and since it was around 34 degrees celcius i thought he was quite dedicated to his gothicness. just thought id shared and see if anyone else has seen some one wearing the same sort of head piece as ive never seen anyone do this before ???!!

^ ive seen a lot of gothic crossdressers here, some of them are quite amazing (that i never can be sure if they're crossdressing or not!!)..... seria for one, she's pretty famous in the underground circuit (sorry i didnt get her whole dress, it was pitch black and i couldnt see at all where the camera was pointing) ...then two of the deejays, and a couple patrons at a gothic event last month. ..the other two pics aren's crossdressers, BTW
