Grey's Anatomy

What happened at the end? I ended up turning it off and watching King of Queens.

Sigh. What's up with Addison and the elevator god? If the spin off is going to be like this, I probably won't watch it :ninja:

Daye Tiggs is very good-looking though

ETA: Just saw Kochie's 'white' stuff. Ahhh...I actually missed some of the good stuff

yes you did but i dont blame you for switching to a different show. the elevator god was actually a security person

^^oo elevator god is just some security person.........cheesy

I just really want Bailey to come back as a driving character, in the first seasons she was PERFECT now I feel like they just throw her in to the plots when it's convenient blah

What has grey's been like this season? I missed about half of it. I used to watch it religiously from season 1 (the few episodes of season 1  ) and 2.

White --> When the hell did George and Izzy get together? WHEN DID GEORGE GET MARRIED?

Has it been good so far though? I don't think I should judge the state of Grey's by tonight's episode

^Actually you should. It's been pretty crappy all season.

George got married after his father died. Then George got drunk and slept with Izzie.

I hate how they chopped off all the Grey's scenes to fit the spin-off crap. I wanted to see more bridal shop, Cristina choosing wedding gowns too. There was a picture of her in a wedding dress looking in front of mirror holding a tissue, so sad they had to cut that scene.

Just terrible! What a boring spin-off. The cast had none of the quemestry that the Grey's cast have. I wanted to watch Grey's but they kept focusing most of the time on the spin-off and a little bit on Grey's. I don't care for the story line or any of the characters, they were not likeable, at all. Those were two hours I won't get back.

why did derek just leave after seeing meredith was laughing with her friends?

I wondered about that too.

I think maybe he thinks he needs to comfort/protect her after the slap and the death, but after seeing her with Izzie and Alex he realizes she could actually be ok on her own. She doesn't need him to breathe for her anymore.

But still I feel that they are pulling away from each other.

Maybe if we keep saying the spin-off is boring, they might rewrite the story to let Addison stay at Seattle.:p

I think Derek left because he was hurt and worried. Meredith shut him down again, and turned to her friends and tequila. Doesn't she drink when she can't handle things? However, I also feel that Derek should have just walked into the house and hugged Meredith. He has read too much into everything recentlly. After seeing the preview, i just hope that Derek won't cheat on Meredith. BTW I found the final scene in which Meredith, Izzie, and Alex together was interesting. These three people all kind of isolated themselves in tequila.

Susan's death surprised me most. She was the only link Meredith had with her father. It's sad.

Is it me or does Patrick Dempsey look TIRED in every episode? Well, taking care of twins is not easy.

About the spin-off. don't get me start it.:yuk: The way they edited last night's episode was like forcing us to watch the spin-off.

Who is Shonda trying to kid with those cheesy elevator scenes? Cringeworthy. Like we couldn't figure out it was some security personnel goofin off. geez. Addison is not cute enough to act like a giddy floozy and get away with it. Three women in their late 30s slobbering over a boy who looks like he could be 17, and with hairy nipples no less? Sad. I can't believe I had to sit through that forced crap just to get a couple throwaway scenes of Grey's. Bishes.

im SO annoyed that they showed a whole...what? 15 minutes of actual greys anatomy and the rest the lame spin-off!? in white---> After mere's dad slapped her i was waiting for him to be like "OMG what did i just do? I'm so sorry" but he didn't and i hated him for that. Also, I'll be crushed if george actually goes to Mercy West. In the 2nd season that hospital seemed so BLAH and boring (like when Alex was there protecting the potential heart for Denny's transplant). I just can't imagine George working there.

---> Another thing, if ABC gets enough flack for that horrible spin-off, they did leave the alex/ addison relationship open. Like when the Jane Doe was asking why he blew it with Addison and it looked like Alex was contemplating changing his ways...as in he might get back with her if she comes back. And I actually appreciated McSteamy telling derek that he told addison that he was the one who broke the '60 days of no sex deal'. It looked like derek actually cared about his ex-best friend again.

Does anyone else agree with me on these things??

Technically, I can't be the one to judge since I've missed half the season but I really dislike the fact that they keep swapping partners in the same cast. The pairings they came up with in the 1st season was perfectly fine. Alex/Izzie, Mer/Der, etc. Then I guess to 'keep it fresh', they played around with the chemistry and made up some new pairings.

Sigh. I miss vintage Grey's

That is what we call a typical soap. Swapping partners...90210, Melrose Place,...

I believe my roommate summed up last night's episode very well:

"That was the most boring 2 hours of, like, anything ever."

i really wanted the spin off to be good. & i was also pissed at the lack of Christina gown shopping scenes.

My thoughts: I actually liked the spin-off! I mean, its not great but I thought it was cute and funny. I'm not sure if it will be a success but I enjoyed what I saw last night. Def. iffed that they showed more of it than Grey's though. I'm getting tired of all the drama on the show. I can't believe all the people the writers think they need to kill off to keep the show interesting. What happened to the humorous Grey's from season 1? I miss that. The drama is just getting to be too much for me. This isn't my favorite show anymore (btw, Numb3rs is!). I have to say though, I am loving whats going on between George and Izzie. At first I thought it was a terrible idea because I thought that they should stay friends but now I'm warming up to the idea of the possibility of them.
