Gucci Cruise 2026 Florence

I can feel this collection as a 'Chatper Zero' to introduce Demna vision... At least the brand improve their cameras direction this time... But looks like a juice of rotten things from YSL

Another Vaccarello YSL coded collection with a sprinkle of Tom Ford...again? Those looks with oversized fur collar jacket paired with high waisted pencil skirt and top are soooo Vaccarello. The styling was giving huge Carine Roitfeld x Tom Ford vibes. If they think they can boost sells by relying on Fordism after 25 years...good luck to them.
Terrible accessories and very ugly bags, they even made their version of Maria Grazia D Journey bag with the horsebit detail.
Also the over the top looks (the blue and Black feathered cocoon coats) looked completely out of Place and nowhere to be include in such a collection.
Better than the FW show anyway...why no male looks though?

"he had a different never seen before vision for gucci" they said.... delusional. its basically his balenciaga in updated micheles prints. next.

Already sense the Demna's touches here lol ( his serious collections pre 2020 ), but giving Carine styling instead of Lotta.

Frankly, it reminds me of Dolce Gabbana Fall Winter 2004. Ofc Dolce was far more superior

Very YSL meets Alessandro Michele meets the in-between shows styled by Koller.

I suspect this was styled by Koller too…

Seriously, this is a good collection. But it’s coming too late. A lot of very beautiful and desirable pieces but do we care at this point?

I think the set didn’t lift the collection up at all. It looked too much like a very styled trunkshow and it lacked in impact even if the styling was consistent. There’s wasn’t a POV, just relatively well styled silhouettes.

In a way, we can already sense the Demna influence and instead of keeping me in my toes because I would want to see more, it’s doing the opposite.

So far, for a resort show by the design team, it’s better than what we saw seasons before.

was good taste present in the room? the colors are all clashing in a bad way... whatever happened to "sabato was there to bring us where we want to be" then they do a full 360 and go deep back at grandmas closet 2.0 powered by demna.

And just like that, our beloved Sabato’s 15 minutes at the table is swept away in an instant.

Demna had to have consulted on this offering. All his Balenciaga signatures are present: The vintage Eastern European sofa prints; the trenchoat cut like an immovable refrigerator; the pussywillow bows; and all on his usual cast of Skid Row denizens. Just this time, it’s the 80s and not his Balenciaga’s 90s. The only missing Demna touch are the must-have, killer, trolling gimmicky accessories, of which will no doubt debut with him.

It's crazy thinking about the amount of different styles "Gucci" has been. I kind of like this but I'm really really dreading seeing Demna again. I don't want to see the undiluted essence of processed food anymore. Today at lunch the topic of the Rockefellers came up and someone brought up something along the lines of "Yeah back then rich people tried to one-up each other through the arts. Now look at the tech bros we have..." and ☹️ yeah this is a status symbol company anyways but it's frustrating seeing rich people have no interest in a vision of beauty anymore. Just a vision of marketing. What's the point of being wealthy and having access to the whole world if you're not doing anything besides being an iPad kid ?
