What a truly AWFUL eyewear advertising campaign. Sabato De Sarno's Gucci campaigns have been a total flop and a complete nonevent. I loathe that hazy filter from David Sims here and how dreadfully dull the whole campaign is. Not even the presence of Vittoria Ceretti is enough to win me over here...
Nothing glamorous nor interestingly desirable about wearing a grey marle jersey hoodie or plain old denim.
Between this and the other ads, what's the point? And what was the point of the Daria campaign, if not to drum up some hype that has completely fizzled because none of the imagery is cohesive (besides a shared quality of perpetual boredom).
