I think both of these are from the catalogue. The one with Sigrid definitely is. M&M wouldn't do something as cheap as this.

Well apparently I was wrong.

This looks awful though. The colors are so off, & Daria just doesn't have the Gucci appeal that current girls like Karmen, Joan & Nadja have. If they had to pick a new Gucci girl, I would have preferred it be Aymeline or Bette.

i don't know if it's just poor resolution and/or abysmal retouching, but the images look oddly unfinished...
it'll no doubt look better in print (what doesn't?), but very drab so far

^ What are you talking about? Daria has been a Gucci fave for the past year so it was to be expected.

The Gucci orgasm era is over, get used to it. The brand is hardly sexy anymore, rather sophisticated and chic and Daria portrays that very well.

I don't exactly hate what I'm seeing but I think we've seen better adverts from Gucci. I look forward to seeing how the finished product looks - with the Gucci emblem attached to each image. I always think you can make better judgement from an image when it's inside a magazine. The image from #1 is the best one. It sells the complete outfit and Daria's presence is very demanding. She's a versatile model, who's ability is showcased within these images. She looks completely different as to what she does modeling Christian Dior. Whether that's down to professionals magic with hair and make-up.. but I don't care.

I like Daria, was actually thrilled when I saw the title of the thread. But lbr, she doesn't quite sell it as a Gucci girl. It's missing the ooommmpph and intensity I guess.

As I expected, I think the ads look a thousand times better inside a magazine. The first shot is inside UK Vogue's July issue, so I thought I'd post a preview (which doesn't do the print ad justice) and hopefully will change your mind about the campaign; I mean it's not to everyone's taste and S/S 2013 with Karmen and Anja was more superior, but still:
