Gucci Pre-Fall 2025 Milan

I feel like his clean, no personality but decent quality products are benefiting from Michele 2 collections in Valentino. He just really needs to have better marketing communication with these.

there are some design elements but I don’t think styling works at all. Definitely better than Kim Jones for Dior tho. I said it and I mean it.
even if for both i don't care for their design point of view or lack of it ....... Kim proved himself at LV and Dior already plenty of times with some hits at least.

but still 2 wrongs don't make a right lol

Hurrah ! His best effort so far. Must have been a happy accident.
Would be good enough for Trussardi or Ferragamo though, not Gucci, and the trousers with slits are disgusting, as well as the embossed leather.
The fur looks like carpets too.

I thought that as well...Ferragamo if it wasn't for the logo and some bags...but maybe yes, his best effort or from the team actually...who is his design/studio director?...

I mean just replace the horsebit by the Ferragamo thing (the Gancini I think it's called) and it's 100% interchangeable.
This pre-fall is also very weak on bags and shoes, compared to the Vuitton endless offering with Pharrel's pre-fall.

The entire discussion of how much "vision" is present at Gucci is superfluous. Gucci is the kind of brand that can push out any insipid old dross and buyers will always find a way to convince themselves that it's 'art'.

I don't blame Kering for choosing the autopilot path for Gucci one bit. Its synonymity with luxury is so hardcoded into modern society, all they have to do is drop anything that looks vaguely 'current' and buyers will gaslight themselves.

If it ain't broke (literally or financially) don't fix it.

The "Textures do the talking" from the title gave me hopes, but some faux mink rasé, one lace outfit and one embossed leather jacket won't make this go into the annals of fashion as "that supertextured collection".
The tailoring is not supersophisticated, with microbelts and bottom slits doing the job.
There are a couple of nice men coats that I would wear.

Agree that this is maybe Sabato's best effort so far, but also agree that right now Gucci at its best is an okish Ferragamo.

I like it also more then I dislike it.
But all is quite simple.... a little too simple for me...

But still too much logos.... too many gucci signatures on the clothes

I like the look of the fur coats.... but i am not a fan of fake fur....
I like the silk scarfes.... might sell
I like the headscarfes

And this hobo bag with the big horsebit clasp...
