Speaking of Pilot Inspektor, I saw on dlisted that Jason Lee and his gf had a baby today-I'm not sure if it was a boy or a girl, and the name hadn't been released, but I wonder if the people who gave us Pilot Inspektor can top that in waky names!

shes clearly influenced by all things jamaican like no doubt with there ska etc. maybe?? dunno thats all i can think of lol

Zuma is actually of Aztec origin and not Jamaican. It was a surname that came from Montezuma and means that God Frowns upon Anger or something like that. But you can find Gwen and family on Zuma Beach often so maybe its something as simple as that...I have a friends who has a boy named Zuma....the mother has some Aztec heritage and I find the name to be interesting and not weird at all. Its different but its no Pilot Inspektor.

The Nesta comes from Bob Marley probably....whose full name is Bob Nesta Marley and was from Kingston, Jamaica. Marley themes in both kids names..hrrmm.

I get on this site and there are a hundreds of models and fashion people with strange names - kinga, agnete, dovile, malin, helmut. I'm sure they grew up and never had any problems with their names. Zuma is really not that weird - it's only because people think they can say whatever they want on blogs. If they named the kid Joe, people would still say it's a bad name.

Ban Ki-moon, Kofi Annan, Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Dag Hammarskjöld are all famous clowns i suppose.
at worst the kid can legally change his name no need to call social services. its a name from another culture its not Peanut or Crimefighter.

Well I can tell you that to protect the child from their parents by LAW in my country you would be forbidden to name your child Zuma or any of those stupid names this celebrities chose to give their children, unless you are a foreigner and the name is in use in your country of origin.
I totally agree with this law, this child as far as I know is American.
