Gwyneth Paltrow

I do think she'll bring her mum if she goes to the Emmys - how sweet would it be if she did win? *knock on wood*

re: Contagion - it was a hit in Venice and it's getting good reviews with the critics so far.

Paltrow boards 'Thanks for Sharing'
Joely Richardson also joins Ruffalo and Robbins in sex-addiction tale
By Jeff Sneider, Justin Kroll

Gwyneth Paltrow and Joely Richardson are set to join Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins in Stuart Blumberg's directorial debut "Thanks for Sharing," a co-production between Class 5 Films ("Leaves of Grass") and Olympus Pictures ("Beginners").

Blumberg, who's coming off an Oscar nod for co-writing "The Kids Are All Right," is directing from a script he co-wrote with Matt Winston.

Dramatic comedy follows a group of unlikely friends brought together through their shared determination to recover from sex addiction as they try to forge meaningful relationships for the first time in their lives.

Paltrow will play Phoebe, a successful businesswoman who falls for Ruffalo's character, while Richardson will play Katie, the wife of Robbins' character.

Olympus will fully finance the pic, which starts production later this month in Gotham.

Leslie Urdang, Dean Vanech and Miranda de Pencier will produce for Olympus, while William Migliore and David Koplan will produce for Class 5. Blumberg's Class 5 partner Edward Norton will exec produce.

"I couldn't imagine actors more perfect than Gwyneth, Mark, Tim and Joely for this film, and I can't wait to see them bring these characters to life with their unique and formidable talents," said Blumberg.

"Bill, Stuart and I are thrilled to welcome Olympus Pictures aboard Thanks for Sharing," added Norton. "Their taste and commitment to making quality independent films make them a fantastic partner."

Paltrow plays Matt Damon's wife in the Steven Soderbergh-helmed thriller "Contagion," which Warner Bros. releases Friday. She's also expected to reprise her role as Pepper Potts, love interest to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, in the Shane Black-helmed "Iron Man 3."

Richardson will next be seen in Roland Emmerich's period pic "Anonymous," which premieres this month at the Toronto Film Festival. Thesp, who plays Anita Vanger in David Fincher's "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," recently wrapped Rodrigo Cortes' upcoming thriller "Red Lights," which stars Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver.

Paltrow is repped by UTA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. ICM and Ken McReddie Associates rep Richardson.

Woo great to see her back with Mark Ruffalo. I thought they went really well together in A View From The Top. Joely Richardson and Tim Robbins are great too.

I'm so tired of her hair. Super blonde, stick straight, middle part.. BORING. She should go back to the long bob she sported during the Iron Man promotion. Or at the very least put a curl to it.

More:

as per Coach: she is carrying the Madison clutch

Gwyneth Paltrow Fetes Coach's European Flagship
By Samantha Conti
From: WWD Issue 09/08/2011

“It’s so much about nostalgia, about my high school days in New York,” said Gwyneth Paltrow of the all-American Coach during the thingytail and dinner to fete the opening of the brand’s first European flagship at 41 Bond Street in London. “I’m honored they asked me,” said the actress, who is a brand ambassador and the star of the latest worldwide campaign.

But Paltrow, who joined guests including husband Chris Martin, Mario Testino, Thandie Newton, Jacquetta Wheeler, Dinos and Tiphaine Chapman, Marc Quinn, Jasmine Guinness and David Bailey at the newly refurbished Arts Club in Mayfair, doesn’t just have leather accessories on the brain.

Next month, she’s headed to New York to start shooting “Thanks for Sharing,” an indie film starring Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins about recovering sex addicts. And she’s already at work on cookbook number two. “This one is more about looking after yourself. It’s easy food — the kind you make when you want to whip yourself into shape and be healthy.” She said the timing was still up in the air. “The last one took me three years to make.”
