Gwyneth Paltrow’s Indian dress code

The highly anticipated American superhero movie Iron Man 3 has been creating a huge buzz worldwide. The cast from the previous film has stayed on for the third part with the inclusion of Ben Kingsley as the super villain Mandarin!

The India-based distributors of the film are having a screening closer to release of the superhero film. They have decided to invite lead actor Robert Downey Jr and Gwyneth Paltrow for the red carpet which is to be held on April 24.

A source reveals that since this will be an Indian screening, Gwyneth has asked her team to select an Indian outfit. The 40-year-old actress who plays Downey’s love interest Pepper Potts is shown as a damsel in distress being rescued by Tony Stark in the trailers that were recently revealed.

Gwyneth, who grabbed much attention and fame for her sartorial sense, will now be seen in an Indian avatar.

“She is very excited about the Indian screening of her film and she will be seen for the first time wearing an Indian outfit. Gwyneth has specially asked for an Indian designer to help her choose the attire,” says the source.

The names that have been shortlisted include Manish Arora, Sandeep Khosla, Ritu Kumar and Abu Jani. One of these top designers will be chosen to create Gwyneth’s outfit for the red carpet event.
