Wonderful, I'm looking forward to seeing these outfits in the shops. It all reminds me alot of BCBG Maz Azria this season, both stores are probably looking at the same higher end designers for influence and inspiration. Nice to see a couple alternatives to the bohemian look, not that I dislike it but I feel I'm getting ready for the next big look to come out. I was estatic seeing all that black in every magazine this month.

Though of course since I'm a great big hypocrite I'm instantly drawn towards look no. 8 the most bohemian of the bunch. Really want that belt, its great.

H&M's fall 2005 line is definitely taking a front seat on the fashion ride this year. With designers like Karl Lagerfield to influence the brands look and ultimate feel, alot of other lines will bow to the store's collection and its personality. Though it is alot hard to shop in some of the stores(there is so much stuff) it is not as bad as it's old counterpart competition: Forever 21!...And here's a tip for the next time that you visit Hermes and Mendenz (its real name I think)....head straight to the accessory section first. H&M makes what used to be an add-on to an outfit, the foundation and staple to a personalized, trendy, and of-the-moment look.

i must admit i dont really like these outfits - i much prefer them un-styled, hanging on the hangers in the store looking like a mess. but its probably because i would never even think of wearing the pieces this way.

*edit - the bags look great though id sure love to have a closer look at those.

certainly not. i like to look at the pictures and see which designers theyre trying to copy though. after a quick glance i see mcqueen and balenciaga but theres probably more.

Yes, copying... H&M are more "inspired" by designers than making exact replicas. I see "replicas" at Zara...

yeah, i think youre right tott. as said it looks like this is more how its all styled whereas its more the individual pieces at zara. everybody around here is wearing their balenciaga rip-off bags right now. i think they make decent clothes copies now and then though.

that's actually some decent stuff for a chain store. What about the quality of the fabrics/construction though?
