Matthew Williamson for H&M Spring 2009

I got the skull t-shirt for men. The rest is pretty much like any other H&M stuff. Definitely one of the least successful H&M collaboration. Anyway funnily I bummed into Matthew in front of Vivienne Westwood shop. He must be on his way to his own shop.

this collection really dissapointed me today when i've seen it... lots of stuff made of plastic... and the cotton stuff is cheap cotton.. and the silk and leather stuff was way overpriced...

went there after work, half an hour drive...
did luckily find the ONLY last pieces of the
yellow kimono
white embroidered blouse
cream printed gathered dress as in ad

very very happy with this collab. tons better than roberto cavalli and surely heaps better than the comme collection (quality wise and staying true to the designers main collection).
the mens studded jeans were fabulous, shame a tad bit TOO skinny but the cotton is fab!

the only things that were so so were the peacock print VISCOSE dress and top :(

I thought that when there was a designer for H&M they always put a limit to the amount that you can buy? So stuff like THAT doesn't happen?

Megadouche:yuk: Fortunately I went to the Central store not TST.

Anyways, here are the pictures I took:

The camera couldn't really capture the color of the first dress, so I tweaked the first picture a bit. The background color is more yellow-ish, and the prints on top are more of a blue-r hue. The beads are extraordinarily heavy, so the front may fall loose if you don't tie it tight enough.

To Fruchtzwerg:
I tried it on finally. I'm little lost on the EUR size; I got a 34 (which is a US 4) where as I normally wear US 2 or 0. The dress feels like a size larger, so I guess the dress runs true to size. :flower: I'm 165 cm tall and the hem hits just 1cm above my knees.

To lucy92:
The top is long enough to be a mini-dress (for me that is). It's completely sheer, slightly more opaque on the psychedelic prints.

I bought three shirts for my dad and he was like "why are you giving me women's clothes."

@verene: Thank you so much for the pictures!:flower: I can't wait until my dress will arrive.

I really wanted the studded leather jacket, but when I saw it in real life a few hours ago I changed my mind completely. The colour is a bit off imo and it just doesn't suit me.. too bad :(

the thing with dress is the fact that it runs really really big imo - i tried 38 coz my Hm hasn't got any 34 left and it was like gigant dress - come on it was just to sizes bigger . Lovely piece though. Really nice sleeves and cut around neck - the same with shirt from the same material. I tried 34 and it was still too big - not loose in cool undone way , just too big. and they were the only piece worth buying in my opinion - rest was either ugly or really overpriced.

^I think the dress runs true to size... when I was buying my dress, a girl came out of the dressing room saying that it ran small but when I tried it on at home, I found it to be TTS.

Verene, are you wearing a size 34/4 in the dress, first pic? I love it but it looks lot more fitted on the model and Helena C.

Our store never gets all the pieces for LE collections, but there were quite a few copies left of the stuff we did get. I bought the peacock wrap dress. It's pretty and has a good weight :]

The bathing suits are great, btw! I love happy prints on swimwear.

I bought a few stuff from this collection, and I must say I´m really satisfied.^_^ Especially the embroidery on side of the skirt is really beautiful, and I love those colours.

And about sizing - I tried on the skinny jeans size 38, and they were a little too small (I am otherwise 36), but the short size 36 were almost too big. I thing this jeans is too thick for summer though. Also the dress that Verene owns looked like a sack on me.:(I am wondering which size is Daria wearing.

^ oh, i saw this first t-shirt in the store, it looked really pretty.

i ordered the pink cardi online, hope it'll arrive soon. ^_^

Jinadaze, you have to post a credit for the images you posted. please tell us where you found them. thanks

yeah , jeans where really thick - so thick that your size is too small.

Lucy92, I forgot, sorry. But there is no edit button anymore. Anyway, they are from nitrolitious.com, except the fourth is taken by me.

Thank God I went there before school, because everything was grabbed in a few hours, (less probably) esp. bathing suits, dresses and tunics.
I was about to buy this one the other day, but I didn't and now I'm regretting it.
